The Firing Process
& Deconstructing the Verbal Reality

Prologue

The words contained herein are meant to point to the Firing Process. This is an Alchemical metaphor for the process of spiritual transformation and growth. Two of the essential components of the Firing/Casting are the Cauldron and the Flame, i.e. the Furnace. The Cauldron must be emptied of pollution before the Casting can begin. We don’t want to sour the Primordial Soup. Further the Mind must be Purified so that the Flame will be hot enuf, but not too hot. Also the Mind must be purified so that the Mind is quiet enough, so that the Elixir of Vitality can Crystallize. This Elixir is the Spiritual Dough that is cooked in the Cauldron by the Flame. If this Elixir is cooked carefully enuf then Transformation occurs. The Elixir is sometimes called the Spiritual Embryo. In this case we wish the Embryo to go full term, be born a child and then mature to adulthood. This is another Transformation metaphor. We can also call the Elixir = the Trailhead and the Pregnancy = the Journey - the Spiritual Quest.

However to reach the Trailhead the Mind and Body must first be Purified. One must practice self cultivation. Once the Purification has reached a certain level the Path - Life’s Mission - appears as if by magic. While Body purification occurs through physical practice as the Body is physical, Mind purification occurs thru mental practices. The primary mental practice is uncovering misconceptions and underlying assumptions. This is known as Deconstructing the Verbal Reality. This is one of the major preconditions for spiritual growth and transformation. It is the main topic of this Book. Read on if this interests you.
